Just another Dobcroft Infants\' blog
We have been learning to make a given total Some children used cubes to solve this problem and others chose to use a numberline. We had a go at finding all the pairs of numbers the added up to 8. Some children also found three ot four numbers that added up to made this total.
Leo counted back on the numberline and found out that 30 – 22 = 8 as well!

This week we met the illustrater Stephen Waterhouse. He drew the pictures for the story the Runaway Chapati. He helped us to make our own storyboards and design a new character. What runaway food did you design?

We all gave a talk on our favourite sports this week. We also brought in different objects that were connected to our favourite sport. We came to the front of the class and answered questions from the other children.
Listen to what we had to say.
